Celebrate Wallingford 2026
Celebrate Wallingford gave our team an incredible opportunity to meet and connect with so many wonderful members of our community. Our booth stayed busy throughout the weekend as residents stopped by to learn more about CERT, share stories, and see what our team is all about.
One of the biggest highlights was the interest generated in our upcoming CERT Basic Training class, with approximately 30 community members expressing interest in becoming CERT volunteers. That kind of response is a tremendous reflection of the growing awareness and support for emergency preparedness in Wallingford.
Our volunteers also supported the Fishbein/Y Road Race, putting our training and teamwork into action. The Wallingford Police Department provided high praise for our team’s professionalism, communication, and support throughout the event. Recognition like this is especially meaningful because it demonstrates that the hard work, training, and dedication of our members are being noticed by the agencies we work alongside.
Celebrate Wallingford wasn’t just another community event. It was a chance to show what Wallingford CERT has become: a growing, capable, and committed group of volunteers ready to serve our neighbors. Thank you to everyone who gave their time this weekend. The future of Wallingford CERT is looking brighter than ever!
