Two Major Fires in One Night: CERT Supports Crews and Shelters Residents

During the evening hours last night two major fires struck our town. Dozens of Fire Fighters from surrounding Towns led by our courageous Wallingford Fire Department battled flames and the high temperatures. Wallingford CERT members assisted by our colleagues from North Haven CERT provided support at both scenes. Our operations then transitioned to sheltering displaced residents at OEM on Hope Hill Rd. Thanks to Red Cross Disaster Services and Wallingford Public Health Department. Please keep the displaced families in your prayers!
